You are right however, there has been confimred incidents of cell phone battries exploding and causing burns. Now all you have to do is be unlucky when this happens to you while pumping gas (you can figure out the odds) but why take a chance if you don't have to ... whoever it is on the other line can wait .... :p

Winter is the most tempting, as well as the most dangerous time to leave it on or get it in the car. Everything is extremely static-prone during this horrible season.

Bah... :p I'm Indian, this cold weather stuff ain't in my blood; and after living the first 8 years of my life in the Middle East, this is horrible. Although, 10 chicago winters have passed and the more recent ones have seemed less cold. As far as skiing or snowboarding goes, I haven't done either. hmm, maybe pick it up this winter ?
