Does anyone replace the fill plug?
This is on FCP euro's site:
When servicing your BMW's automatic transmission it is important to replace the fill plug with a new plug as it has a seal which is integrated and cannot be replaced. Failure to replace this plug could cause a transmission leak. And I believe this is my fill plug as it is listed in RealOEMp.com as "Screw plug, outer hexagon". Everyone else's seems to be "inner hexagon" (hex) or torx on every write up I have read.

Total brain fart on my part, I believe that is the one, a 17mm socket should remove that. And it was on the rear driver side of the tranny too right?

Kevinkay, I looked and mine has the same (17mm) type fill plug as yours pictured.
