I had an issue on my 3.0 early on where people would flash me because one of my high beams was stuck "on" even when they were not supposed to be. On the Xenons the high beam is controlled by a shutter which I believe has some sort of motor that opens and closes it, the motor had burnt out on mine and they missed it in the CPO as it is very subtle unless you are in front of a wall and pushing the stalk forward and backwards (do not pull towards you as that is a different set of bulbs). They had to replace the headlight and then people stopped flashing me!

I've even seen them only 1/2 broken so the shutter plate was swinging around over bumps, giving a flashing/shimmering effect.
