That's what he's talking about.

The "two-tone" effect is actually the solid blue color showing through the mesh.

However, I think it's a technicality. Don't worry, people know what you're trying to say.

I think he was referring to the picture Lemans posted (hence quoting it)

All BMW leather interiors are 'two tone' - usually the carpet and dash are a few shades darker than the seating surfaces but some are a sharp contrast like the black & beige above or this:

A few, however, are made of completely different materials and are almost always M-specific

Hahahaha! Ooops! My bad. I ASSumed he was talking bout the Alcantara since the seats had 2 colors - not the whole interior with beige/black.

If by 2 tone you mean sheen, yes than its 2 tone. I thought you meant 2 different colors. The black nappa leather on my car is both black but the leather has different sheen.

aren't comfort seats ridiculously expensive if you buy them aftermarket? I personally prefer comfort seats though to the sport seats (I have had them both), they each have their positives and negatives, but overall I think I like comfort seats better..

I just meant that.. the cream seats/black interior color scheme.. on a 4.8... seemed to only come with comfort seats.. I think vitolo thought the same thing that's why he's asking for comfort seats? sorry if I'm wrong.

edit* sorry you do want comfort seats. sport seats would be easier to find!

The creme came on both sport & comfort seats... some people prefer sport *coughmichellecough* but I prefer the comfort. Figured my interior is pretty desirable so it might be a win-win trade for someone.

No one has come forward though :\ I've been looking at local E53's for sale too..
