Well $9K damage on $42K value still is not too bad--- you car is an '06 it looks like so the DV so should be a little higher amount back to you for that but like I said when you get into the $15K+ in damage that's when DV really kicks in. Unless you plan on selling it in the next few years I would just take what they offer. If you sell it 7 years from or whatever most buyers would not be shocked if you had been in an accident considering the age.
