Help with audio question
 not much control. The question is can I also install the BMW aux input wire, so I can link the audio from my portable GPS or Sat port radio. Thanks for your help

In comparing the two install instructions, it appears that the Aux input uses different pin assignments from the BMW iPod interface, so you should be able to do this.
