i dont think they are too bad. once i bought mine, two friends bought an X5 each as well, one a 4.4 like mine, and the other a 4.6
we all paid around the 40-mark, give or take, and when you look at what you got for that money, i think its pretty good value. Look at mine, its an '02, had 64xxx kms on it when i bought it, white, sports, 4.4, everything i pretty much wanted.... but yes, it can be depressing looking at the american prices

I think its all a bit relative really...In comparison to what people earn/pay for their vehicles, it doesn't differ all that much. Unless of course, youre talking about Singapore/Japan...I have no idea why the vehicles in these places cost so much
...But they are clearly more than most people can afford...Now petrol, yes - its a whole different story...
