Anyone remove seat covers??

Well after almost 150K miles, my driver's seat is feeling a little lop-sided. It appears the seat cushion is breaking down closest to the door, probably from getting in and out. In addition, I have the one "hot-spot" with the seat heater that others have experienced. What I wanted to know is if anyone has ever removed the factory seat cover - how difficult is it, what does it involve, etc. Or is this something I should leave up to an expert upholstery shop.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
Might be better to get a set of seats from a wreck?

That's the route I would take as they have the tools, parts and expertise to make it good and put it all back together.
You may want to check your seat heaters and have an OEM set of coils put in there just in case.
