Cool The snow beast

First major snow fall last weekend. Went for a serious blast with my new winter set-up [Pilot Alpin] The snow was deep and the roads were unplowed. The X5 [02-E53] performed beyond my expectations.
Happy Thanksgiving to all in the USA

Forcast of possible 20cm (8 inches) by the MOnday rush-hour here in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). I had my winter rims/tires installed yesterday.

Me Too. Put on 17in Pilot Alpin's last week. Removed 19in Continentals. Today was my first real try of them in real snow.

Went skiing in Ellicottville about an hour south of me. By the time we got to Springville there was 2 inches off slush forming that was very slippery was able to run 60+ mph with no problem as I saw 4 other vehicles ditch bound.

Very impressed.

Also took it on some unplowed back roads and ascended and descended some serious hills. It ran and tracked great.

We don't have a drop of snow in the driveway but an hour south there is three feet.
