I think it will look nice on your X with the 4.6 kit. It's kinda hard to capture the real color of the wheels but it's def not glossy black. Do it!

Hey Mister2, I see your in St. Louis, MO. (Me To)
Do you know some shops in this area that work on X5's.
Where did you get the wheels?
Thanks man. Nice to see another STL member. I've only taken mine to Suntrup BMW in Manchester. There are a couple of Indy shops around and two other dealers that I know of. It just depends on what you need done. I got the wheels from craigslist.

Very nice Mr2, I like the black roundel theme, blacked out grill & surround. Does that finish on the 87's hide front brake dust a little better ??

Awesome!

I swear BMW should have just made the 87's standard on every X.

I wonder how the 87's would look powdercoated in black on a White X?

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Damn... now I'm gonna be looking to either smoke my wheels to the gunmetal finish, or buy the gunmetal 87's and sell mine.

guys! The 87s definitely changed the cars appearance. I was annoyed mostly before by the offset of my 18s in the rear. Now the wheels are close to being flushed with the fenders

Being able to hide the notorious brake dust is definitely a plus
