help reset brake fluid change light

Does anyone know how to reset the "brake fluid change" due service light on the dash? I know there's a "how to" on reseting the " oil service" due light but does this also reset the "brake fluid change" due light?

Thanks X5Devon, I tried the service reset procedure and as you said, it only resets the service indicator, so does anyone now how to reset the clock (brake fluid change) symbol?

There is a procedure on the home page. You can reset various warnings (oil service, inspection, etc). I would scroll through them to see if there is a brake fluid reset. If not, try the inspection reset.

You may have a DSC/ABS warning light on, I have never in 4 1/2 years at BMW dealer seen a brake fluid change due light, other than newer cars wi CBS data through i-drive etc. But not on an E53.

If it is telling you "brake fluid due" then maybe go to the dealer and tell them you did it and just need the light reset, if it is the triangle with the ! in the middle, I'd think there is some fault in the system.

I've seen it, it is a clock symbol. The manual describes that it is time to change the brake fluid. Not sure where the OP is from, but maybe the light isn't active on US vehicles.

You're probably right on that... which would explain why I haven't seen it. Which unfortunately means I don't know how to reset it.

Very simple, start the car as PARK then turn your steering wheel to left all the way and then right..... That yellow/red brake light should go away.
