Whenever I spray Lysol, I spray into the outside vents and the microfilter vent area.

Update - After treating the stink coming from the AC with Lysol about a week and a half ago, the smell has not returned yet...so far I'd say this has been an effective treatment - and extremely inexpensive compared to the prices I've seen some people say the dealer has charged.
I plan to spray some Lysol again today just to be sure both into the outside vents and inside the car. However, I'm not completely sure where the inside intake vents are for the AC recirculation mode. Can anyone confirm where the intake vents are located inside the car for the AC "recirculation" mode? Thanks |

FYI. This is a well documented BMW problem and has several SIB's about it that have been periodically updated. If I can find my printouts then I'll post the info. However, one product that I have used in the past and that was recommended by BMW is Wurth A/C & Heating System treatment. To get the best effect you need a pretty good quantity of it (about 2 cans) and use it with specific HVAC settings in place.
