Were your seals visibly worn to account, at least in part, for the hard-shift symptoms between 1st and 2nd that you describe? I found one other listing of these numbers on Xoutpost by 'bvbazel'. After replacing several transmission parts, including seals listed above, bvbazel said that it wasn't until after replacement of the DSC module and software update by dealer that the shifting issues were fixed.

Yes, those are the seals I replaced. The square adapter seal was hardened, but not to the point were it was brittle, still was a little pliable. The other 4 tube like seals were mushroomed at on the top side and were compressed flush to the trans body. The replacement seals stuck out of the trans body about 1/16" so I'm sure they seal better now. All the seals, filter and pan gasket was $95 total from Pelican, and Amazon had a good price on Pentosin in 5L bottle, plus I had to buy 1 more liter for a total of 6L.
What's the DSC module? Is it something I can buy and plug in, or does it require going to the dealer? Any idea on cost? Since the hard 1-2 shift is only for the first mile when cold, and it's much less harsh now, I'll probably leave it as is unless the module and software upgrade is inexpensive.
