Thanks for the reference; found it. Very interesting. In looking for it I came across this... also quite interesting. I thought BMW said no additives?! At 71.5 Euros for the liter, this stuff must be liquid extract from bald eagle piss.

Weasel, killcrap, et al.... have you guys ever used this stuff?

I haven't seen where the ZF LifeGuard 6 is spec'd. (pic below) As far as I know and from everything I've read the Shell M-1375.4 is the only fluid recommended and there are no substitutes.

Update: Spoke to a ZF tech and apparently ZF LifeGuard 6 actually IS the Shell M1375.4 fluid !

Update: Here is place where you can buy the ZF LifeGuard 6 fluid in 1 liter bottles: ZF LifeGuard 6 - 1L Container
