My 2002 4.6is is still a young puppy @ 64K miles.

However my "old-timer" daily commuter '98 740i has 178K and it doesn't burn a drop.. ok it does have a little drip from a seal somewhere but what a great motor. Just keep changing the oil with BMW synth. and OEM filters and replacing those water pumps every 60 - 100K...

Replaced transmission @ 35,000
New rotors and pads @ 35,000
Rear wiper, and shift lever replaced
Radio lcd replaced

Fields of Orlando took care of it all!
