Heres a stupid question. Could the mall possibly have a camera in the parking lot? Is that something they can look at, in retrospect? That just seems like blatent vandalism to me. a$$holes...

Thanks you guys for your suggestions. The camera in the parking mall is a good one. Did not think about it. I have no idea yet how much this will cost to get it repaired. I hope to have an estimate on Monday. I have a $500 deductible on my insurance so any thing above that will be covered but anything below will be for me. Will keep you guys posted when I get it fixed.

ouch, that breaks my heart. I feel for you bro. There are really some idiots out there so it pays to park far and walk. It's healthy. Good luck and let us know how you end up fixing it.

I feel your pain.. My car was keyed very deeply all along the passenger's side while I was parked at school. I took it to the dealer and they said the whole side of the car will have to be re-painted!
I got a new dent on Friday... I was at my friend's house and they're building a new garage... Only the foundation is done. It is maybe 6-8" above the ground.. Surprisingly, my PDC sensors didn't pick it up, and I couldn't see it at all. I didn't notice I hit it until I realized my car was no longer moving backwards... It left a good-sized gash in the bumper and cracked the paint on the corner of the bumper. uch:

Yikes! Now that I have PDC, I must admit that I've come to trust it. But I do still worry about that chance that it's missing something...

Some updates. The guy from the 'dent and hail specialits' shop here in Raleigh said he can fix it for probably around $100/120. For that price he will pick up the car at my home in the morning and will bring it back in the afternoon. I was expecting having to pay more than that so this is very good news. I will post some picks when the job is done.
