Check out the ugly trim pieces the person put on too. Not only are they on the side mirrors but also on the rear taillights.

Ironically the rear taillight trim is an actual factory option. It looks like he only installed half of it though.

No freakin' way. Did I just stump LeMansX5, the 2nd most prolific poster on X5 World! Cha-ching! So what do I win? Hey can I get one of those little "x" 's next to my name? BTW, what does that mean anyway?

Check this out... (and incidentally I actually saw an X5 in New York with the full set installed once...all in chrome...yikes...felt like I saw the Yeti) In case someone in the future DOES like them, you can buy them through Roveractive on ebay. Two more pics below.

Those are the wheel flares. Seen on the 4.8is and 4.6is. I think.

Part # comes up as flared wheel arch extension retrofit kit.
