.. this good luck sounded like ...i`ll hear from you again

...i`ll try and we will see... i`ll just use the 500ml one for the 8-9l of oil that shouldn't do any damage

My engine is running just fine after using it. You will be fine, but I guess BMW has their reasons for not recommending it. I just wanted to be sure you knew that they didn't recommend it before you went through with it.

Yep. BMW has a fuel injection cleaning procedure they can do. It uses a fine spray of a highly concentrated cleaner.

Yeah, but that is a fuel system additive/cleaner and not an engine cleaner like what Xenderx is looking for. If you use a high quality gas with detergents, you really dont need the fuel system cleaner and if you change your oil regularily with good quality oil, you really don't need to use an additional engine cleaner, IMO. I just personally tried the Liqui Moly motor clean for the heck of it.

So you're at 100,000 miles. That being the case you car should go to a good shop for a good inspection and some important work. A fuel injection cleaning might be a good idea and definitely some fluid changes. As far as air filters go, I wouldn't go anywhere near a K&N setup in your kind of environment. I would probably be changing the air and microfilters every 15,000 miles.
