Weasel will become famous soon enough
We wash every car that we work on, unless the customer asks us not to. We even offer "BMW spa service" which is a full detailing with wax job.

JMK... in NJ washes my bimmer...... I always receive the veh. very clean..... I almost bought my X5 @ Life Quality in Bkyln, I called the sales guy to find out what time they closed on Sat. I got to the dealership 25 min. before closing, guess what they were slow that day so they decided to close early, they were inside the showroom and would not let me in..... I had a check in Hand but they told me to comeback on Monday..... Unbelivable..... its good I didn't buy my X5 there....

Depends on where you go...i can think of a handful within the tri-state area that fail in the customer "service" department

I have had two dealers offer complimentary washes.

The dealer I bought it from did an amazing job.
The second dealer I ask them not to touch it ever again.

QFT.

They mistakingly washed mine and it came back with a TON of swirls. I wasn't too thrilled but it rained and I forgot to tell them not to wash it since I hadn't planned to leave it overnight.

I ALWAYS bring my car in clean. Technicians truly appreciate not having to work on a dirty car, and will usually subconsciously take better care of it if he sees you do.

I always wash mine before taking it in as well so they don't wash it after cause my dealer is just horrible at taking care of a customers car. Just recently I got my x5 back with muddy foot steps on the upholstery and the mats were pushed under the seat. The outside was dirtier more then ever. I called to complain and they said they could give me spa treatment but I denied since I believe I will do a better job my self. But at least the dealer now knows not to ever treat my x5 this bad again.

Mine is always HAND washed, toweled and vaccumed by the dealer, even when it is only in for short jobs. Once I arrived early and they hadnt done it, so they appologised and made me a proper coffee and put me in their lounge to read BMW magazines while they quickly did it.
