1. Go to Device Manager (Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> System, and it will be listed on the left under "Tasks" )
2. Click "Continue" when the pesky UAC pops up. :-(
3. Double click on "Ports (COM & LPT)" (note that this will only show up when connected to the command module!)
4. Double Click on "USB Serial Port (COMx)" (where x is the COM port currently assigned)
5. Click "Advanced" on the "Port Settings" tab
6. Change the assigned COM port, and click "OK" all the way out ...
