PM Riaz (01 BMW_X5). I believe he's had this problem before and he knows how to solve it. Someone else on this thread had a problem with the head not being recognized and Riaz was supposed to get back. Not sure if he ever did though.

I stand corrected on this, but I don't think there is such a thing as US and Euro software. The DIS (other than language) is the same all over the world, the difficulty you guys are having is that as your cars are US cars, when the SSS looks up the vehicle order in order to get a measures plan it recognises that it is a US car so it only give you the US coding options.

This is why with Japanese cars which have more memory in their clusters for their characters, you have the option to code as Japanese, you don't get this with other market cars.

Please check the setting in your VMware, make sure it has bee set to 'bridged' in 'network adapter'.

I found what looks to be a very good battery charger company here in Australia and I am very impressed with their range. I have enquired about the battery chargers in the link below which closely resembles the DBL800, I will post back the results, fingers crossed that they are not too expensive.

Have you looked at Navcoder:

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS
DRL-ECE on = same as having licht switch in the low-beam position. Low-beam, plus side and tail lights are active.
DRL-Lowbeam = only Low-beam headlights, no side or taillights
DRL-Dimmed-Highbeam = only dimmed high-beam headlights, no side or taillights. Dimming value can be set 0%...50%
