Any ideas about this ?
What audible option are you talking about?

May be talking about the audible "chirp" when locking and unlocking.

That feature is only available when the OEM alarm is installed.

I am pretty sure I have an oem alarm.

How come the E46 has the bleep activated using autologic, but when I connect my SSS it doesn't even come up as an option?

Huh, pretty sure you have it? The quick way to know would be to check for the alarm siren under the hood. They put it inside the microfilter bulkhead on the E46, just pull the microfilter out the way and look in that opening with a flashlight. The siren is a black plastic box type thing on a metal bracket.

I don't have any experience with SSS so sorry. The only thing I can think of is you're not looking in the right area in the software.

I wish the DIS or SSS software had a simulator version like the MB Star SDS system.
No need to connect to vehicle.

It is part of the car memory under the anti-theft system menu on the SSS.

The DIS/GT1 software can go in without being hooked to a vehicle, I use that to look up wiring schematics and component locations at times.
