Based on the odometer reading which will be recorded when the six monthly WOF(Warrant Of Fitness) is carried out. You will need to buy the diesel fuel tax in advanced on a per unit basis - (1 unit = 1000km). You can purchase multiple units. What this mean is that a smaller diesel vehicle will cost less in fuel consumption but pay more for fuel tax and vice versa for bigger diesel vehicle - go figure.

Pajero diesel isn't just noisier bit lacks the 3.0d's punch and economy. The Pajero's diesel drivetrain may be new for Mitsubishi but it's light years behind even the '05 3.0d let alone what's on offer now.

Hello boys, there are a few wreckers you can get parts for your X5. Theres on in Dandenong called BM Spares. I called them a few weeks back and they had the wide screen unit for $1000. You can get it cheaper on ebay. For lights etc try carwear.com.au. they are expensive but stock a fair bit of accessories for the X5. Theres another place in Tullamarine which sells body kits for the X5, they were selling the kits unpainted for about $3000 to $4000.I dont remember their address but if guyz want it i will look it up and post Good luck.

Well done mogm,
Do you know if the shop in Tullamarine sells or can get hold of the infamous Skid Pan as we know it ??

Hi X Foomph, no they dont have the skid plate also refered to as skid plate in Australia. I am thinking about getting one from the US through ebay and will cost me aound Aus $400 which i think is a lot of money for a small piece of plastic but i really like the look.

Thanks,
Well done Silver,
That's exactly what I (we) were looking for. Just realised their's a BMW wrecker here on the GC that hadn't turned up in any searches, probably don't have a website. I'll be checking them out today.

Again, Thanks
