Reverse mirror motor on its last days?

You know when you put your BMW in reverse the passanger side mirror adjust down ward so you can see the curb.
Well mine goes down then comes half way back up or doesnt come up

is there a fix or do I need a new motor for it?
if so how much do you think it cost?

thanks all
