Are the side mirrors folded? I thought only vehicles in Europe came with folding mirrors. Are they standard now on new X5?

My '01 has (hand) folding mirrors, but are you taking about motorized ones? - The powered mirrors are standard on the 4.8 and the 4.4 w/PP per the brochure.

I am not a big fan of the AERO kit but Fulanito´s 4.8 is the exception! In that colour, all tints, underide bar and in lowered stance,it looks cool!I like it!If it was silver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you align the aluminium RBs with the Aero kit wide fenders?
Maybe someone can confirm this!I cant see how it can be done!

Powers, I think you would like mine, its Titanium Silver with the aero kit and its absolutely sweet. I wanted the aluminium running boards but they told me that it wasnt compatible with the fenders.

I didn't know that side mirrors can be folded manually.(I have 01' 4.4 too) Gotta try it later. Hope it won't break.

So, the newer x5 with premium package come with power folding side mirrors? that's nice. I'm wondering if I can get a set from dealership to retrofit my 01'.
