I've been a member for almost two years and because of some of the things you've mentioned I must say I normally don't log in I just browse to keep myself "in the loop", but since reading your post and the other positive responses, I see there are many within the community that are still here for the love of sharing all things BMW.

Thanks Michelle, search function is a tool I haven't used as of yet will need to look into it. I am yet a newbie but have been a car owner for 40 yrs so I have turned a wrench or two, yet I too might need a tip or two and might even ask a "dumb" question. Remember to reply as if you know and love that fellows X5!

Hello everyone. A long time ago, you would select which SAV you have on the home page, which I believe led you to a page with maintenance instructions/tips broken down into sections. Am I mistaken, or what happened to that?

i think maybe you do not need to send your car to garage.
with a professional tool, you can fix your car by yourself.
it is said this tool is multi-function and suit for most types of the cars.
