This is the set of OE M3 mirrors came off an E46.
So here is the thing E46 M3 some came with autofold and some dont,
I got this set without autofold option but i still can swapping out the motor to make it fold.As the mouting points is toltaly diff then the X5 .On this project I have to make my own mounting base and switching out the wiring pins.
I will post up all the details of wiring and the option you guys want and need.

Very slick stuff. You installed both mirrors though right? B/C the 1st pic looks like you only did the passenger mirror.

Those pictures above is just from fitting and testing when i was making the mounting base.
Both mirrors had been painted to colors code and installed on the car already
Real pictures will be up when the weather get nicer.

Nice job on the interior weight reduction mod, I never liked those pesky door trim panels to begin with.
