In all honesty, different strokes I guess. However, your strokes are way different then mine. I am not a fan of chrome wheels in the first place (looks way too Escalade-ish) and the fact that they are about 3-4 inches too big make it worse. It looks like a clown car, IMO. If it is a show stopper as you say then I would not want to be at that show, but if you are happy that is all that matters. You are just going to get more negative feedback than positive here as most people don't like that particular look.

Did you upgrade or at least replace the brakes? From what I understand, adding even lightweight big rims like that is always an issue on stopping / rolling weight. We even added Baer aftermarket kit to an old Silverado after going to 20" rims.
