is there an underseat storage bin on passenger front seat?

I thought I saw somewhere in the manual that this is where the first aid kit goes. Is that right?

Yes, that's right. I'm not 100% sure but I think all X's in Aust. get a first aid kit under the front passengers seat. I opened mine up once just to have a look see, the contents are very impressive. Getting the FA kit back into its receptacle was a bit like trying to get a bum in a bucket . Took me bloody ages, unfolding and refolding numerous times. Now that it's back in there it can stay there untill needed.

I'll take a pic for you, but their's no way I'm unpacking it

Check out LeatherZ Start Page and do a thread search. Pics have already been posted. (X Foomph just trying to save you some time so that you can focus on the Australian GP!)

Though I have to say, the cars do look weird though I'll get used to it, but they sure sound terrible compared to last year. I almost want to watch with the volume off.

Yeah, a friend found it in my car. I was pretty surprised.

I threw the first aid kid in the trunk and kept the storage place as my secret storage place. Nothing interesting in it right now but it makes me feel special.

If your car does not have the underseat feature, the parts are available at your dealer, and are easily installed. Holes in the seat frame are already drilled and waiting. I have a kit on both seats, one for the 1st aid kit, and the other for my mileage and travel record book. Easy to do, and adds convenience.

Would that part be #3 shown on this diagram?

that would probably be the mounting bracket.

Thanks for all the info guys. So I take it US cars didn't get this. Wow. For 75k, they couldn't throw this in.

BTW, didn't know you guys used LeatherZ! Crazy! I've bought stuff from them before for my Z!
