Sorry...I just read their fine prints more carefully. The actual claim is that Brembo/Zimmermann are OE suppliers to MOST German car manufacturers.

So far, so good. They look great and I have no issues with the rotors or the Axxis Deluxe pads. They feel good and there is no squealing. (Knock on wood.) The quality of the Centric rotors appears very good. I looked them over before installing them and compared them to the OEM rotors I replaced. The Centrics were nicely machined, the hats were smooth and clean, and the vanes looked perfect. Considering the quality and cost savings over OEM, they are my rotor of choice.

That still seems very expensive for an indy. That sounds more like dealer prices.

My car is 51K I am wondering my brake too and drove to my Indy shop yesterday around 4:00PM. After checking everything, He told me that my brake still ok for next 10K mile and advised me to bring it when it 60K-65K for
Inspection too. I asked him how much he charges for the entire brake system, he told me it is about $800-$900 + Tax.
I used to drive BMW 1999 528i and this guy in South Philadelphia had serviced my BMW Since 2001.
Whenever you are free during weekday or Saturday, drive to indy shop for maintenace. I did that years and my previous BMW miles reached 230K miles and it's still runing like 50K.

I don't know what's going on with BMW indy shops in So Cal, but none of them seem to be open on the weekend...not even Saturday. If I have my own shop, I would take off Weds & Thurs (least busy) to be able to open on the weekend (most busy). So...I'm still in search for a good indy in So Cal that's open at least on Saturday.

No dealer would be about $2K for all 4 pads and rotors. I called a dealer last week to get a quote for just the fronts (because that's what I thought it was) and it was like $975. Trust me, I've had mine for 8 years now--this is the second time (at 60K miles and now at almost 90K miles) I've had to pay for pads/rotors for all 4 out of warranty and each time it's been about $1,000 at an indy.

My dealer advertises their service prices up front (many packages are listed on their web site). For my 2003 X5 3.0, pads and rotors (all OEM) on four wheels is currently $893, and that is in Canadian dollars. That would be close to $750 US, before taxes. Front only are $474 CDN, rear only are $436 CDN, and pads only (no rotors) are $400 CDN (both), $221 CDN (front) or $206 CDN (rear)

You can try Avus Autosport in Glendale. They do Saturdays by appointment. I have not used them but they come highly recommended. (I live too far from them.)

Man, I though my dealer was expensive. I would suggest going with aftermarket parts that are as good if not better than OEM and finding some handy X5world member in your area to help you do the job yourself. I think you would save about $600 this way.
