well , so much for german efficiency , i just recieved in the post a recall notice for airbag control unit that was fixed last month .
the letter states thefront airbag can be triggered when vehicle is switched off , this may happen in particular if the parking brake is applied at the same time as when the ignition is switched off .
well wtf is giong on , can these fekin morons not design a car properly and what now if car is hit whilst someone is inside with ignition off , will airbag still function ?

DON'T DON'T put a four year old in the front seat - ever. Why even consider it when the center back seat is the absolute safest place a passenger can be? It bothers me just picturing it.

I've had mine done, its a 20 minute job. They just reprogram the airbag module.

You can check for recalls here: VOSA - Vehicle Recalls
