It actually still resides on his desk next to the water globe with golf ball and tee type of game, and gets turned around daily by customers! (this is out best service adviser and the asst. service manager. Great guy!)

Hey, I just enjoy watching the customers get fully distracted trying to catch the golf ball on the tee in the water globe while he's trying to ask questions about their vehicle... then they snap back to reality, look up and he's just staring at them with a smile.

Sorry I'm not my usual sarcastic self today, in some pain as I now have tendonitis in my right hand/thumb/wrist... (now that has joke potential!)

High dose motrin, cold compress for a few hours, follow with tiger balm, arnica cream, or a thermacare wrap later on.

Oh and, cut it out, you'll go blind.

DAM Right.....

When ever I get new car.....i always pre-appreciate..the driver of the service....(or valet parking your car) i mean what is the point of a post tip....what ever precautions or services were rendered is in the PAST.....not much more they can do other then say thanks...or POSSIBLY remember you the NEXT time?

MY theory insulates you from the "ah its just another car...or another customer"......and to pre-treat completely puts another spin on how they look at you and in most cases treat you (or possessions) not to mention your requests entirely differently.

When in doubt.....put your self in the other persons position....they are in a far more powerful postion then you might think.....so you should treat them as SUCH.....

Last time I bought a car with 5 miles remaining on factory warr.......$100.00 later to .......new clutch/throwout bearing/flywheel.....lower control arms.....interior trim stuff...new water pump and radiator.....and instrument cluster on a e39......

So you tell me....even if nothing was done....think about how much you stand out as an individual. Showing respect for what they (or anyone does)...when 99% of the time they are arguing with unappreciative people who no matter what you do for them will ALWAYS be miserable! I am not saying you have to give them $100.....each time......a $20...will convey the same message......and i often ask them to buy lunch for the mechanic.......

TRY IT.......I DARE YOU ..........
