bluetooth, ULF module, pass key

HI Guys

Just got my "X" back from the STEALERS, Douglas Park in Hamilton, whom carried out some warranty work and replaced the ULF Bluetooth Module, had a terrible time with them when it was in, there service, or lack of, has left me p****d off , this is the first time I have dealt with them, having dealt with Peter Vardy in Edinburgh previously, but switched due to poor service from there also , has anyone else in Scotland had similair issues with either of the outlets ????

Anyway, problem is, now that i have the "X" back I canot get my phone to pair, and was wondering if i should have received a NEW bluetooth passkey when they fitted the new module, as the pass key I have from the original set-up is "failing" when attempting to pair ,

Any advice before I challenge the stealers tomorrow would be greatly appreciated,,,,

Cheers,

CR55

Yes, you likely should have received a new passkey for the replacement ULF. You can call them, or if you are up to it, dig into the rear electronics bay and look at the module. The passkey is on a label on the side.

I believe that you should have gotten a new passkey. You might be able to find it yourself as it should be on a sticker on the side of the new module.

Don't wait, just spend 5 minutes to expose the module and look on the sticker, it will be there.
