This might help too. This shows a plastic clip unhooked. It kind of pops away with a twist of a screw driver.
I undid the clips from inside the box. It will give you some space to work on removing the metal clips from injector connectors. You can pull back the box a little and work the metal clips. Get a small pick and a small magnet in case you drop a metal clip. Lucas

Thank you to weasal, amacman and Luke. Apparently what did the trick are the tips in Amacman's link, even though for a different car, same engine, what was printed worked. Got the car back together, and so far it seems to be running fine, with no leaks. I will take it out for a test drive tomorrow. Only drove it a short while today, seemed fine.
