'05 4.8 color questions

Hi all,

Before asking the dealer and maybe getting some inflated answers, can a 4.8 be ordered set up as follows (it is not clear to me in the literature):

1) With black/silver comfort seats. (It is available that way with sport seats)

2) With a color available on the 4.4 but not the 4.8?

3) With an interior color available on the 4.4 but not the 4.8?

If so, any idea as to the dealer cost?

I'm considering a color/interior combo not avail. on the 4.8 which I really like (you can get black on a 3.0!)

Anyone with custom color ordering experience....?

I think you can order the custom color under the Individual /Priority one options for $2500 more. But per Chefwong, who wants a sterling grey on a 4.8is, BMW is not taking cutom color orders these days on a 4.8.

Dan, unless you have some contacts with BMW NA, I don't think you'll be able to get the custom paint unfortunately The comfort seats are one color only -- you'd have to go to a upholstery shop to get the silver inserts.

I REALLY like that troufle brown interior (the comfort seats were a separate question)....and would have like to have had a option to order Highland green exterior.

Talking w/dealer, will keep all posted.

Dan, you might want to check with the dealers on the 'fest too. Those guys can usually pull some strings.
