Unfortunately, you need the right type of shot to really capture the true effect of Carbon Black. To really appreciate the color, you need to see it in all types of light, and both dirty and clean. It took a different shade/color in each situation. Truely amazing color. When moving, it had a color change effect. Whenever I freshly Zaino'ed my M3, I always had people asking me to roll down my window so they can question what color is that? Some "dynamic color" pics of my former baby..... Dark Blue in Overcast..... Midnight Blue-Purple in Street Light.... Violet..... Mystic Blue/Metallic.... your "black" and straight blue.... |

This may the 1ST time I have actually seen even a CB X5 listed !
I mean we have seen Imola Red 4.4, Estoril 4.4 but never a CB on ANY model 4.6, 4.8is, etc. |

At least the good colors are all metallic.

I love carbon black. It's a different color. In some lights it looks dark blue and in others it looks black.
My e46 M3 is carbon black.

Sweet! I sold my Individual Carbon Black and then bought Imola Red. We think alike.
