Ok sorry to rehash this debate. Especially since this thread is over a year old. But if y'all can remember back, were your noises more of a creaking sound? I have just a very intermittent knocking when I make a turn, or accelerate, or just hit small bumps. It doesn’t happen all the time, but very often, and is driving me insane! It is almost as if something is rocking back and forth in the trunk.

I have wrapped the jack in a towel, and I have wrapped the plastic holder around the spare in a towel. Everything else seems secure. Could it be a rear sway bar (if those exist)? I am going to try the felt and rear lid stopper tricks and see if that does anything. I have searched these threads for some time now looking for an answer as the noise is getting really really bothersome! If anyone has any other ideas, I am all ears. Thanks!!
