I used a polishing machine on full speed, added some pressure on it, and worked the areas for a bit.

Clean as could be, no scratches...

What about your rubber trim? I hate seeing the white in the rubber trim from the left over wax. I would think that with the polishing machine it would get in your trim. I have used the scratch X but I still see what looks like water spots.

There might be some, but not enough for me to be bugged about it.. The unpolished trim was much worse.

I recommend Menzerna PO85RD:

Xoutpost resident detailer, Phil, recently used this product on my X and it looks incredible. Others on the forum also use Menzerna. Check out the detailing forum for pics.

Any decent *polish* will do the trick. Whether it fills or not, it's removing the oxidation off the trim...which seems to be the issue on the X. A decent polish followed by wax or even QD helps the longevity.....but I find myself polishing the oxidation more often than not..

How do you avoid a bigger problem which only lengthens clean-up?
