Don't hold your breathe MT! He lives in the same area as me, and I talked to him a few times over the phone in the past 2 years. Supposedly he's been getting some new ones in for OVER 2 YEARS. I personally think he's completely out of the car biz, he told me he was now making lights for the airport.

LOL without a doubt! But where to get pre 10/02 headlights?

.....or to find them without broken mounting tabs.

LOL! So its not just me. good to know. You know i was thinking of getting this returned and going through my credit card company to get my over $1000 back. BUT i don't have any replacement headlights (sold to weasel) and i really like the CCFL angel eyes. i just can't believe he would be like that, especially with him owning angelibright too.. you'd think he would care about his reputation ... ?

And those headlights you sold me are the ones I modded/smoked! My oem ones are 10/02 so can't be opened, faded lenses, and I dropped one so the adjustment joints are kinda loose... damn aging plastics!

You're def not alone. I actually called HELLA yesterday after reading your thread. I found my way to a gentleman named Casey, who I'm guessing runs consumer/customer tech support. I was trying to talk him into sending me some new housings because mine were all foggy and cloudy (so i said). This is what he said, "Oh they have this great stuff at Walmart that will make your lenses look good as new! Or, you can buy some new units." (me) "How much are new ones? Can't you just send me a pair for free? You must have some sitting around your warehouse without a home. WaaWaaWaa." Guess what happened next... "You can contact your BMW dealer and purchase a new pair (he laughs), it will really help US out here (he laughs again)."

It was worth a shot, atleast to get the "sport" looking lights. I figure, if I can make my car look the way I really want it to without spending all my dough, I'll keep it. Bottom line, it all comes down to the headlights!

MT, I feel for ya, it seems you're in a tough predicament. I would take up your qualms with the credit card company, see if they can help. It's worth a shot, just provide them with as much accurate information as possible, along with pictures, emails everything you have to prove that you've received a faulty product and have been promised an exchange or action to make good for faulty products. Then, I would take your $1000+ bucks, and look for a set OE lights like Weasel says.

the thing with that is that i have to find the headlights first, otherwise i will be left without headlights! lol

a member purchased some extremely similar looking ones off ebay and i'm waiting to see how those turn out. if they are good then i will get them. temporarily (or permanently if they perform well) they are only under $200 and look exactly like mine with CCFLs too. i will still have a lowbeam issue. i think i need a new wiring harness to the battery. don't know how that works so i will be looking for someone or a shop that can help me with it.

Goodluck with it man. You should check with your credit card company though and see how strong your case is. Then you'll have direction and a budget!

I did not know that I'm writing in good topic, but I have problems with my OEM xenons, I have already change the bulbs twice times and they still don't give a good light, I think that they don't give light in 100% but only in 60-70% maybe less, I have comparison to other car with original xenons , and some other X5s and X3s and their xenons are much more brighter then mine. I don't really know what I should do. Change again bulbs ?? Maybe ballasts ?? My X5 is 2005 year with Bmw dynamic xenon imported from USA, and have about 100k miles . Please help cause when It's raining especially when it's dark I don't see too much.

Sorry for my engilsh
