Philips D2S 4300K,(I have it longer than 2 months) maybe (if there is that kind of function in computer) they are lightening in 60-70% not 100% ?? Is that possible ?
and I almost forget that when it's dark outside and in front of me is a car with clean number plate, or in white color my lights reflect as light yellow or when the object is in some distance as light green(but not always). But when I get very close to the car, the color is a little bit white and yellow. Last edited by Poper; 08-30-2009 at 05:55 PM. |

I doubt it.. Are you sure it's dimmer? Maybe they aren't leveled correctly?

Yes I'am sure that they are correctly leveled (I was 3 times for check them or for correct it) and that they don't give as much light as other X5s or X3s.
I set light in service but not BMW, maybe I should go to the BMW service or just buy new bulbs, ex 6000K or 5000K ?? Is that really possible to set a limit of xenon light as I sad earlier, or it only concern DRL ?? |

I would not sell the headlights, i would just buy another xenon headlight kit, since that is the real problem, i have seen some on ebay going for $40-50, try that for now, you might get the error but at least your headlights willl be work or just buy piaa xtreme white halogen bulbs $65, they are suppose to be 4500K, I have them in my fogs and they match my oem xenons perfect, but I changed my bulbs from the factory to the 5000K for a whiter look. You can a buy a new set of headlights but that does not solve the problem of the actual headlight bulbs working. Just my opinon.

OK, now I bought and installed bulbs from WELL DONE company, 6000K +30% more power, they tell me that they are brighter than other company's 6000K (will check), It cost me 149zł so it is about 52$ per one bulb. Today I will check it. I think that will be end of my problems, I hope

I can write something because my test end, so bulbs are a little bit better than previous, give a better light, and when I comparison to other cars with xenon, my was lightening the same way or a little better but I think that my lights are lightening a little bit too far, I think that I should go to the BMW service to correct it or not, cause I don't know how far they should light, how far I should see the light on the road. But in the end they are better then previous Philips D2S, so I think that my problem is solve thanks for your advises
