DSC loud and Dynamic brake control

2003 x5 4.4 45k miles. I have only had this vehicle for a few weeks. I noticed a noise coming from front driver side. After trip to dealer and Indy, it was determined to be just the DSC. My questions are: is it typical for the DSC to be so loud in the 2003s, and is it typical for it to "engage" more easily on one wheel? I dont hear the DSC on the other wheels. I also notice the dynamic brake controls seems to "activate" more easily on the front driver side wheel. Are this issues related? Am I just looney am this is just part of the character of a 2003 X5?

Hello, I think it isn't normal to hear and feel a sound and noise coming only from one wheel. I write this because I have X5 2005 3.0d and I have the same problem as you. The symptoms are extactly the same as you had written. I have this problem since 8 month and till these days I don't know what can solve that problem. maybe someone in this forum have any idea

best regards
