Changed that much?!
Recent work on RF lower control arm replacement, 4 wheel alignment done to 0 camber 0 toe, 4 brand new general altimax HP tires installed. MPG before work: 24.4 MPG, MPG after work: 27.1 MPG, Both data are based on highway 100 miles. Now I'm loving my new baby. ![]() |

The alignment, balancing of the new tires and the tires themselves (lightest in its class) helps big time. I also have the Altimax HPs and LOVE them on my X. When driving in the rain - you feel like you're still on dry pavement.

I had an alignment done today on my 4.4 and they did it to factory specs. The factory specs were not 0 toe and 0 camber but I guess your setting gets better gas mileage since everything is perfectly straight.

Yeah, the 0 toe and 0 camber are good for gas mileage, but bad for handling... I personally like more camber and toe for driving stability (and it makes a big difference) and am willing to sacrifice some tire life and gas mileage for it.
