Hey that's neat!

When I first saw it I thought I'd prefer the wood trim, but it is quickly growing on me. Nice to know how rare it is

It looks like you have all the options ticked besides the automatic, yet a manual passenger seat means no premium package. Then again, you do have automatic climate control which does mean you have the premium package, as 01's didn't have automatic climate as standard. Very nice car with many options, just seems to have that manual passenger seat out of place.

Check out this link to see what exactly I'm talking about. Shows all the options you have on your car and what's available.

Thanks for the link! The list of options I showed earlier was from a VIN search. I don't know how accurate that is...

Actually, I've already read most of the links on the FAQ page. When I went to pick up the X5 the windshield wipers wouldn't work. Thanks to posts here, a quick removal of the plastic shield revealled that the bolts for the windshield wiper motor were loose. Tightened them up and all was well! THANKS GUYS!

"Congratulations and Welcome". That's one hell of a find. I like the MT and the ONLY 61k miles part. Any mod/upgrade plans?

Welcome to the xoutpost. I'm fairly new myself but have saved several hundreds of dollars from the info I have found here. Just this week I replaced a weather beaten windshield trim piece for $20. One BMW source told me I would have to replace the windshield in order to fix it. It was a piece of cake. I also have an 01 but it is a V8. I'm thinking of doing some engine mods sometime soon. Only 90K. Just about broke in.

Bonjour!
Where are you in Montreal? I'm in Pointe-Claire. We'll have to get together!

If you don't mind my asking, where do you get work done? Dealer?

As a US car imported to Canada, I am required to have the daytime driving light mod done at a dealer. Quotes from the three dealers arround here varried from $250 upto $800 I know it is only a programing change....
