So, I went to the local stealership to get my D2S xenon bulbs changed to a 6000k set on my '06 4.4. The SA comes scratching his head and tells me that they will have to charge me 1 hour labor because they have to remove my bumper to change the bulbs.

I have done this on my '04 3.0 in the past, but with the new one I'm a little afraid to do it myself because I don't want to mess up my adaptive headlights or something else.

Is there a major difference in the procedure between and '04 and a '06 , or are they trying to take me to the bank ?
