Looks outstanding! A few questions...

1. Have you considered the Roundels? I had the Roundels on mine pulled by my Paint Guy and custom painted High Gloss Black and put back in. There is no chrome left on the Roundels, both front and rear.

2. Thoughts on doing the calipers black? That's my next project.

Love what you've done! Great job!

Thank you! Your truck as well is amazing.

Im not quite sure what you are referring to as far as the roundels?

I thought of doing black calipers just havent really gotten around to it. I stay so busy with school and work just not much time. I recently had BMW do a full brake job so I might try to get around to that soon.

Here you go. Take a look at the BMW Roundels on your hood and trunk. Notice the chrome around the circumference? Mine were painted a custom, high gloss black.

Here's the front. I held up a stock roundel so you could compare. See the difference?

Here's what the rear roundel looked like BEFORE it was painted. This is an old picture, when the car was VERY dirty, so please excuse the filth.

Here's the rear roundel after it's been painted (2 pics). It's kind of hard to see in this picture, but the rear roundel on the X's have a lot more chrome, as the roundel is much more pronounced(see picture above to compare), compared to the front which is much more flush/flat on the hood.

Here's what the rear looks like from a distance:

Based on what you did to your car, you might want to consider.

Ohh me likey

I blacked out the rear roudel allready, but the emblem is stock. As well as the front emblem is stock as well. I need to get those black ones that you have!

The rear roundel is actually one piece, not 2. You would think it's two, as it appears it would be the same as the front plus the additional, thick mount for the rear. Not the case. It's one piece.

I had my body shop pull both roundels from the truck, tape around the logo's and paint all the chrome, high gloss black, followed by a few coats of clear coat. Unfortunately, you can't buy it this way. It has to be custom done. But that's what makes it unique.
