Rear corner light question

Strange episode... Rear light stopped working, but I checked and saw that the bulb is good. I did detect that the plastic housing the bulbs is screwed on doesn't seem to have as snug a fit to the opening at the rear of the car as the other light bulbs. Could that have caused the electric current to not go thur'? Is there a cure?

Thanks for any advice.

may have to replace the whole rear light housing... it's just one piece tht holds everything together.

mine did the same thing, i thought it was the little housing unit the bulb goes into, still no light, but then i figured out that if you dont trun it all the way to the click it should go on
