New to site buying X5

Hello everybody .I'm Paul from Australia
First up great site took me a while to find it ,very glad I did looks like a very active community ,With lots of info.

About to purchase a 2006 X5 4.4 sport pack with a few options on it ,Has 75k kms /46k miles .
Taken it for a fairly good run can't find anything obviously wrong with it ,Very impressed with the power as i just sold a Ford Falcon 4lt inline 6 turbo producing 360kw wich was silly fast but the X5 certainly has plenty of poke.

Been reading all I can over the last few days , Already picked up a lot of tips thanks.
So I there anything I should be weary of with this model ,Build date 11/05 plated 2/06 .

Couple of general Q's
average life of brake pads ?
Spark plugs ?
I'm sure i will think of more lol

Again great site I will be around a lot just can't know enough about cars
