Unhappy I JUST GOT KILLED!!!!

I was heading home after a nice dinner with two other friends in my car. I see this new bmw 335 coupe behind the light, so I go beside her. she rev her engine asking to race, me being in my 4.4 sport package put out my dsc and put the X in sport mode, thinking ok im gonna show my buddies how fast this X is. Guess what, the light goes green and we both pushed it, to my surprise she killled me really bad where I just slowed down. same goes on the next light. she walked all over me and embarrassed me again. Now, is it my car thats being lazy or any of you guys have experienced the same before?let me know. BTW, I checked and there was no cops around. Ive had my share of tickets in the past.
