When i got my X stolen last year, they eventually found it and had to get some repairs done to the truck. BMW gave me a 135i as a loaner for a few days. It was actually pretty fun to drive that little thing.

It all depends on if you are under warranty and your relationship with the sales advisor.

Just call for appointment and ask for loaner car while they work on your car.

With my dealer, I get a BMW loaner everytime I take my car in for service that's longer than two hours. There is no charge other than the gas you consume.
