My guess is that this x5 was traded in with shot tires so the dealer slapped on the cheapest set he could find.

That said older x5s are 15k vehicles not 50k so maybe they don't get the white-glove, premium tires anymore.

I love Michelins but don't believe they are worth 2x a mainstream brand (Conti / Yoko)
